Arbour Youth is the oldest youth provision in the Stepney Green Area, catering for young people aged 12 – 21. The premises were originally an old church hall, owned by the London Diocesan Board.

The are is a multi-cultural one with a very large Bengali community. It is situated between Harford Street and Shandy Street and is in the heart of Stepney, overlooking Ocean Estate and Stepney Green School.

The youth project provides recreational activities for young people in the local area, which acts as diversionary activities from boredom, street life and related issues of drugs and crime. The programmes enable young people to gain knowledge and skills to make positive decisions and choices about their lives, respecting themselves and others.
